When Life Imitates AI

In When Life Imitates AI, Yuskadd invites us to reflect on a fascinating and uncertain future: What will happen when life begins to emulate artificial intelligence? Through the recreation of her own pieces in paintings and objects, Yuskadd draws a parallel with algorithms that generate images based on pre existing visual data.

This exercise of “creating upon what’s already created” becomes a metaphor for repetition and the limits of technological creativity. Yuskadd argues that, unlike AI, which operates in the realm of the predictable and structured, human creation is defined by uncertainty—a dynamic of constant and intuitive exploration that machines cannot replicate.

These pieces were part of the artist’s first exhibition, alongside the Misery and Co. Tattoo Collective and her debut solo exhibition at The Gala in Salt Lake City, Utah.
